Site Selection

RI Novelty

One of the primary missions of the Fall River Office of Economic Development (FROED) is to assist businesses with site selection. We maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date list of available industrial and commercial real estate that we use to facilitate this property “matchmaking.” Over the years, we have helped a broad spectrum of companies, ranging from Fortune 500 firms to small neighborhood businesses. Our client list features hundreds of business startups, expansions and relocations including

    • Starwood Hotels & Resorts – 13,000 square foot call center
    • Anderson Windows – 200,000 square foot manufacturing plant; 15 acres
    • Meditech – 120,000 square foot office building; 20 acres
    • Blount Seafood– 100,000 square foot corporate, production and cold storage facility; 12 acres

The Fall River Office of Economic Development works hand-in-hand with the Greater Fall River Development Corporation and the Fall River Redevelopment Authority in an effort to attract industry to the city’s business parks. Companies interested in purchasing industrial land or buildings may contact our office directly for detailed information on various development opportunities.

CommonwealthWe also work closely with Fall River’s commercial property owners and local and regional real estate firms to identify available space for business inquiries. Based on your company’s space requirements, we will forward you a list of real estate contacts who either own or represent suitable sites. Please note that we do not charge any fee or commission for these site finding services.
